  • Diplomates will be automatically transitioned to the permanent ABCC Pathway.
  • First set of article exams now due by 12/15/2024.
  • Any completed Pilot article exams will count towards the first permanent 3-year block.
  • Diplomates no longer need to submit an application. Payment of the annual fee will cover participation in the article-based pathway.

**  Due to the pandemic, diplomates due to recertify in 2020 and 2021 will be extended until December 31, 2022.  Diplomates will submit the article application and payment by 9/1/2022, and complete remaining article exams by 12/15/2022.

  • Diplomates can complete mini-exams early, but the recertification date will be based off of the Article Exam Question Deadline.
  • Refer to the Activity Requirements Status section of your ABPN Physician Portal for information and deadlines for Continuing Certification requirements (CME, Self-Assessment, PIP).
  • Certificates will be mailed approximately 3 months after scores are finalized.
